Mr. Thomas is a graduate of Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, the designation of Juris Doctorate being conferred upon him in May 1987. He completed undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University, graduating in 1984 with a B.B.A. in Marketing.

Mr. Thomas began his professional practice in the field of personal injury as a defense attorney for insurance companies. In 1998, he entered private practice to represent injured victims. His work on behalf of insurance companies gives him a unique “behind-the-scenes” perspective on how insurers think and act, which has proven a significant advantage for his injured clients.

Mr. Thomas is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
